The Bluebird Word publishes new writing on a monthly basis, and we accept submissions year-round. Please consider sending your work for a future issue (details under Submit).
Publication Calendar for 2025:
January – November: New issue selections on the first of each month. (Open submissions year round in Submittable.)
December 2025 / January 2026 – 2025 Winter Reflection Issue: First and middle of the month. (This will be a special and separate submissions call in Submittable available in late October/early November 2025.)
